Progressive High Low

Progressive High Low is another game that is similar to 7 Card Stud in that you have seven cards to choose from to make your hand, but the deal and other aspect of the game are very different. Since it is a High Low game, there usually is a split pot and the pot can get very big in this game.

Then comes a fifth card for everyone still in the hand. After looking at your cards again, it is time to bet again. This time the player to the left of the player that opened the bet last time, opens the bet this time. Now though, he has to bet $2 or fold. Then the next player can call, raise or fold. Again if he chooses to raise it can only be $2. No more, no less. When it gets around the table betting is done.

Now for the sixth card. Everything is the same, but the player to the left of the one that opened betting last time starts it off this time. Again the bets and raises are fixed. Since this is the third round of betting, the bets and raises have to be $3. No more, no less.

Finally you get the seventh card. Again, everything is the same, but the player to the left of the one that opened betting last time starts it off this time. The bests are still fixed and since it is the fourth round of bets, it has to start at $4 and all raises have to be $4. No more, no less.

Now before the showdown, you will need to declare whether you are going high or low just like in standard High Low. You can declare both, but if you loose one way, you loose both ways.
