Low in the Hole
Low in the Hole is dealt just like standard 7-Card
Stud. The only difference is there are wilds and everybody's
can be different. What "Low in the Hole" means
is that your lowest hole (face down) card is your wild.
So if your hole card are 3, 5, and 7, then the 3 is
your wild.
The dealer also has the choice of the last card being
dealt in the hole, open or giving you the choice at
the end which way you want it dealt. This is kind of
tricky call because you might have a great hand one
second, then the last card comes and your wild changes
and now you have nothing. A good tip to remember is
if the choice is yours, not to take the last card down
unless your lowest hole card is a 6 or lower. The chances
if the wild changing is too great.
Dealers:When dealing Low in the hole, it is fun to
tell the players that the last card is coming down,
but they can get it up for a fee of $2 or so depending
on the money in the game. This gives them a chance to
think weather they want to pay so they know their wild,
or take the chance of the wild changing.
