To understand if a shuffle is secure, it is important to understand exactly how a shuffle is produced. The deck of cards online is not shuffled in the sense that fifty-two cards are taken and mixed up before they are dealt. Rather a deck is shuffled by using an algorithm that stacks fifty-two elements in a random order. How this works is that a Pseudo Random Number Generator (PRNG) is passed a variable, called a seed, and then produces fifty-two statistically random numbers that represent the cards in the shuffled deck.

How weak?
The fourth place finisher, call him WeekendAtBernies, did not play. You read that right. He didn't take his seat, so he timed out on the first hand. The software put him in 'sitting-out' mode, post-and-fold, and he posted-and-folded his way into a fourth place finish.
